Limited Public Masses Begin this Weekend!
Updated: Jun 1
Greetings in Christ!
I wanted to reach out to each one of you to see how you and your family are doing!
I know your lives have certainly been affected by the COVID-19 virus and we are all trying to navigate these uncharted waters in an unprecedented way...
Fr. Mark and I are praying for each of you and your families and want you to know that the Rapid City Newman Center continues to keep its doors open during this difficult time. If you have any prayer intentions, please send them to us here at the Newman Center!
We will be conducting Newman Center masses differently this summer due to the Covid-19 outbreak. With much prayer and consideration between Fr. Mark and myself, we want to bring as many people to Mass to receive the Holy Eucharist as possible. In light of this new change for the summer, the RC Newman Center will be offering our Masses in cooperation with Fr. Christensen and Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH). Again, these masses will be for "Friends of the Newman Center."
A Joyful Return!
On Sunday May 17, our Newman Center family will begin a limited return to celebrating Holy Mass as a community of faith. We will begin holding our regular Daily Masses and Weekend Masses in the Main Church at OLPH.
Our Newman Center will specifically be hosting our masses at the following times:
Sunday - 7:30pm ( + Live Streaming)
Monday-Friday - 12:00pm
We consider you all "Friends of the Newman Center" and wanted to make sure you knew of the changes that are coming and that you are invited to come celebrate with Fr. Mark and our Newman Center community.
If you are wishing to attend one of our Newman Center Masses, you should reserve a ticket by going to our the Our Lady of Perpetual Help website https://www.cathedralolph.org/ and clicking on the corresponding “Reserve Ticket” button or by calling the parish office at 605-342-0507.
Tickets will become available for reservation on Monday mornings for the coming week. There will be limited number of tickets per Mass and once a Mass has reached its capacity then no more tickets will be available.
God Bless you and your families!!
